Day at the park; First Tattoo!!

As you know wednesday was my birthday. I turned 18. I know I know I haven't updated my stuff but, thats all on my list of things to do.

So, late late wednesday night I followed through with my plans of getting a tattoo.
We had Ethans footprints from when he was in the hospital printed in a baby book so, I decided (from Nikki's original idea) to get his footprint, name, and birth date. I originally wanted it on my chest but, I'm so tiny there wouldn't be enough room for the 2897987 kids were going to have :D ("Oh whatever andy" [Nikki]) Heres a pic of it being done:

And this is the finished product:

The tattoo artist's reply to my question of how bad is this going to hurt was...
"Depends on your pain tolerance. I see people with smaller tattoos that run crying and some people with bigger tattoos think it tickles."
Not to be a hardass But, I was expecting excruciating pain seeing as I am a total wimp but, it felt a lot like someone was writing on my back with a ball point pen really hard.

The cute stuff

Yesterday Nikki, Brittany, Ethan and Brieanne all went to the park. Unfortunately I was at work so, I missed out on all the fun.
Heres a couple of really cute pictures from their fun-day.

I did however on my way home catch Ethan sleeping from exhaustion in the stroller. :)

I love the tattoo! Cool idea. Cute pics of Ethan also. I was 17 when pregnant with my first born. It was very tough, we didn't have a dime and lived in a dump.

Went on to have one more, and they are grown now, plus we are still married....but I REALLY need a vacation!

Nice idea for a tat. I'm hoping to get one but I'm a bit of a wuss. My bloke has all of our names on his back in the same place. He has to add our daughter's this month cos it's her first birthday :)

Your baby is so cute!

You've got a cute boy, Andy.
Your tattoo is awesome. I've got a few myself. They don't hurt as bad as people make it seem. I actually fell asleep during each one.

That tat is SO awesome. Question though - how many more kids do you plan on having? (hee-hee - gotta have one for EACH of the kids, don'tcha think?)

Me? I have 3 boys and 3 tats. But I guess I'm not as sweet as you - mine are all about me.

Selfish momma.

I just stumbled on your blog.... I admire you for stepping up to the plate when it comes to being a daddy. Not all men are like that. My little girl is 5 and does not know her dad. He chooses not to have a relationship with her.
And the tattoo is great.... Original.... I like it.
